What is Project Inspiration?
“Project INSPIRATION” as the name implies is a project designed to inspire the next generation of leaders by showcasing to them the success stories of our successful leaders. The successful leaders are men and women, selected from various fields of human endeavor, such as business, politics, academia, religion, etc, where they have distinguished themselves.
The project is a talk-show, televised in various Television stations in Nigeria.
Project Inspiration is also designed to serve as a Mentoring project, where our Inspirations accept to mentor young people who are interested in their fields of specialization.
What is the problem?
In our society today, it has been discovered that most young people lack the patience required to succeed. The “Get-Rich-Quick” syndrome has completely eroded the morals of our youths, who now prefer to engage in unlawful and criminal acts that would enable them make money quickly. Millions of them are now gainfully employed in Internet fraud, counterfeiting of consumables and drugs and other “419” activities.
There is therefore a complete deviation from the norms of the African culture and society and a negation of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other countries in Africa.
These new developments do not mean well for the Nigeria and continent of our dream, the noble society our past leaders struggled to build for us.
Regrettably, at the center of all these atrocities are the young people, who are naturally endowed with abundant talents, with a whole lot of opportunities staring at them in the face.
This Television project specifically shows our target audiences, who are mainly young people, how most successful men and women made it to the top. The truth we want to reveal here is that “the road they followed to the top was never smooth”. We have heard several stories of men and women who had to train themselves through school, almost starving themselves to death, got self- employed and today, they have made it.
The project seeks to empower young people who are at crossroads on the path to follow, in order to succeed in life. We believe that our country, Nigeria and Africa at large would be a better place if these young people are equipped with the right kind of information, skills and resources they need to build and sustain their own homes.
