Come November 26 - 27, 2009 in the city of Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, the African Youth Development Foundation will roll out the drums in celebration of its 10 long years of changing the lives of young people, children and women in Nigeria and Africa at large!
The event is scheduled to hold between November 26 - 27, 2009 at the Imo Concorde Hotel, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria and Her Excellency, Lady Ada Okwuonu, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour.
At the event, the Board of Trustees, Management staff and all members of AFRYDEF will have the honour to present their Special International Awards to distinguished philanthropists and members of the Nigerian and African society.
Eminent speakers and resource persons shall make special presentations and lead discussions on such topics as "Building a new generation of African leaders: Are today's youths ready?", "Who are our Inspirations: Our present day PoliticalLeaders?" among other red-hot, inspirational and thought provoking topics revolving around leadership in Africa.
